Ian arrived on time.  I had a number of garage door companies out and Ian was the only one that was prepared to consider repairing my door.  I suspect the others saw the job as not having enough money in it for them to bother.  Ian fixed replaced the counter balance spring, the snapped old wire and the runner that had fallen off.  He even thoroughly tested the doors movement and greased / oiled the parts and adjusted the other runner as was tight and causing the door to move in a jerky motion.  Ian has saved me a lot of money compared to new and I am confident in his repairs and service.  His repairs have a 2 year warranty.  His price was extremely reasonable and he is a nice all round chap!

We phoned Oldham Garage Doors who told us it would cost £60 for labour plus VAT and cost of any parts. They arrived next day on the dot of the agreed time. They were cheerful and competent,rapidly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in half an hour. They asked for the sum mentioned above, which we happily paid.
Would recommend them and readily use them again.

Ian came to look at the job when he said he would.  He looked at the work to be done thoroughly, so that he knew exactly what was involved, and provided a competitive quotation when he said he would.  He replaced the timber frame and facia to a double fronted concrete garage, ironed out the uneven concrete base and fitted two garage doors.  He also tidied up and all in less than a day.  The work was of high quality and the end result is excellent.  I found him - and his assistant, Dean - very reliable, competent, as well as very pleasant people to do business with.

Don’t try the rest go direct to the BEST.  Oldham Garage Doors, I cannot recommend highly enough.  Ian has done repairs to my up & over garage door on a number of occasions in the past.  Now it was time for a new door, I went with Ian's recommendation he carried out the work to a very high standard.  Turned up when he said he would.  His work carries a 24 month warranty; don't get that much today without an extra payment.  The warranty of 24 months is the minimum warranty and is for repairs he carries out.  The products carry longer ones.

I just wanted to write you a quick note to thank you for the recent installation of my garage door.  From my initial enquiry to the installation, I cannot fault you or your company.  Your first visit to discuss my problem and to measure up was both interesting and informative.  Your suggestion as to what I do with my existing damaged garage door was very gratefully received and worked a treat.  On the day of installation, your two sons arrived promptly and worked quickly and efficiently.  The operation of the door and maintenance of the vital components was explained in detail.  I am very pleased with the final product.
